I fear,though, that he may be whistling in the dark as he passes the cemetery. (But I’m responding to the brief statement above, not the full article, as I am unable to open it.)

I can’t read the article either, but even if he has always seen freedom come back “better than before,” I’d like to remind him and people that think the same way that just because it’s happened that way so far doesn’t mean it will always happen that way again in the future. That should be obvious, but it’s amazing these days just how often the obvious needs to be pointed out yet again…
