Sometimes I think that we spend so much time in the epistles, especially during preaching, that we miss the “gut check” that the Gospels give to how we would apply other portions of Scripture. I find the historical narratives and prophets a huge blessing for this as well. Much appreciated how the author walks through some examples of how he processes this.
