NewAs long as they are paying

Sun, 08/28/22

As long as they are paying their way, I see it as a great economic decision for both the parents and the children. When our kids get old enough I would be glad to have some extra rent income from them if they stay here and I would charge them less then they would pay elsewhere- win win. Further they could help with snow removal and lawn mowing (they would have to do that if they had their own house).

On the other hand, if they were just planning to eat my food, use my electricity and water, and not pay any rent, that would not be good for either of us.
