My guesstimate: 5-10% of Americans (United States) genuinely born again.

I think this underestimates the problem. Alluding to Bunyan I believe many Talkatives, By-Ends's and Formalists in our churches.

I would guess that, yes, a lot of people who identify as Christian in our country are not "in our camp" as evangelical/fundamental, five fundamentals, five solas, dedicated to serving Christ, all that, yes....but at the same time, knowing the bitterness of the invective at "RINOs" in politics, I really don't think the term "CHRINO" says what we want to say. "Cultural Christians" probably says it better.

(there are a lot of great ways to reach people for Christ, but name-calling is not one of them, IMO)

Don't get me wrong; I share the concern that a lot of Christians, including those in my church, are not really dedicated to and growing in Christ. I just think there is a bit of "this is the wonder that you're missing out on" that ought to be the major part in persuasion.
