After a crackdown on sexuality, two dozen CRC churches head for the exits

You will find a link to the list of twenty affirming churches in the CRC at the bottom of this page, eight of which are in Grand Rapids, including one in my neighborhood (Creston Church). All Grand Rapids churches are older white congregations (except one of which is diverse) located in ethnically diverse or black neighborhoods. I was actually surprised there weren't more churches. While the RNS article isn't calling this a split, it mentions the split that recently occurred in the UMC over Affirming LGBTQ+. It's turned out to be more of a pruning for the CRC.
