What is happening in Nigeria is under reported and it seems out government is just ignoring it. We need to pray.

NewSmall group of perpetrators

Wed, 06/04/25

The article notes that (a subset of?) the Fulani people, as well as Boko Haram, are they key perpetrators. 15,000 adherents to Boko Haram, probably a few more with the Fulani rebellion. Mixed with the religious conflicts are pastoral-agricultural conflicts and issues with perceived/real corruption in the Nigerian government.

Fighting the insurrections is apparently a guerilla war for which the Nigerian Army is not always well prepared, and part of the issue is that the murders of 4000 Christians each year are a minority of the ~64,000 murders each year in Nigeria--with presumably a few more not reported to authorities.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
