A missing number is how many of these people used Google previously to do the same things. A lot of AI use is just search engine replacement.

Views expressed are always my own and not my employer's, my church's, my family's, my neighbors', or my pets'. The house plants have authorized me to speak for them, however, and they always agree with me.

...but while I agree that search engines serve a lot of the same purpose, I personally find it really irritating that many of them are now putting the AI results first, and you need to scroll through that before you can look to see if there's a source you respect.

Plus, a lot of those AI algorithms simply average what's out there, so you're getting a mix of what's good (OK, great) and people who really are out there, theologically speaking. There is a point where understanding credentials matters.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
