NewWhen he was asked about how…

When he was asked about how he personally voted on the Florida ballot initiative to expand abortion access, he [Trump] refused to answer. I think we can pretty easily infer what that means.

I don't know what that means. And I don't know what Ryan Burge thinks it means.

Could be: Trump voted against expanding abortion access, and he doesn't want that issue tied to the national election, so he refused (I bet).

Could be: Trump voted for expanding abortion access, and he doesn't want conservatives to know it.

I find it interesting that Trump claimed, "that he did 'a great job bringing it back to the states.'” I mean did he do that? The Supreme Court did. He nominated some of it. Maybe he had influence?

NewHmmmm.....

One thing I notice is that the rhetoric has changed since the 1980s regarding this issue. Back then, it was (rightly I think) pointed out that the fetus often could feel pain (incredibly cruel), and that abortion really served the interests of "cads", i.e. men who would love (lust) them & leave 'em. I don't hear this as much anymore, perhaps because being a cad or promiscuous is so much more open. But even so, I wonder if the needle would shift as people realized what was really going on.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
