The Ethical Dilemma of Abortion and Voting for Donald Trump

“For the one tribe, failing to vote for Biden, especially since I live in Florida, is seen as me helping ensure four more years of Donald Trump. The other? Well, in their minds, refusing to vote for Trump demonstrates my lack of commitment to important social issues, specifically religious liberty and abortion.” - J. Ellis

NewWe might

Fri, 10/23/20

Paul, we might “luck out” and end up in the plight of “Everyman” after all. One of Biden’s campaign positions is a “public option” for medical care/insurance that would most likely end up moving the nation to a national insurance plan. End game with that is what we see a lot of in the Netherlands and Belgium, where those who are inconvenient are, a la Logan’s Run, “recycled.”

In discussing matters like this with unbelievers, I am consistently shocked at how many people cannot appreciate the danger of allowing the heirs to decide the time of passing of the decedent, as if the inheritance makes no difference in many peoples’ moral reckoning.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.

NewThird party

Fri, 10/23/20

I will vote third party. Both candidates are totally unacceptable. Naysayers must consider the electoral college history of their State, which is likely winner take all. In WA, it has gone blue for decades and will again. So, a GOP vote for President is a literal waste in WA. Bearing that in mind, I will vote third party this year.

Tyler is a pastor in Olympia, WA and works in State government.
